Tier 4 Restrictions
As we are entering into tier 4 restrictions at 6pm on Friday 20th of November 2020, and in line with the SUG advice, we will only be able to facilitate members and players who reside in East Ayrshire.
We are aware that this may exclude a number of our members from participating with us for the next few weeks, and we are working hard to establish a reciprocal agreement with other courses in both South & North Ayrshire to allow these specific members the opportunity to continue playing golf during this period.
We will update this information once we have any further details via the Latest news page on our members app. Obviously our clubhouse facilities still remain closed at this time.
Caprington Golf Course Revised Opening Hours
As we start to emerge out of lockdown from the coronavirus pandemic and get back to some sort of normality, all licenced premises including the golf club have been allowed to re-open to some degree. Due to the current restrictions placed on the club and how we operate, we have taken the decision to revise our present opening hours. These will take affect from Monday 27th July 2020 and will stay in place until further notice or we are advised by the government and East Ayrshire Councils licencing board that all restrictions have been further eased or fully removed.
The committee will review opening times regularly and adjust these as required.
Opening Hours are as follows:
Wednesdays 7pm until 10pm
Thursdays 7pm until 10pm
Fridays 12 noon until 10pm
Saturdays 11.00am until 9.00pm
Sundays 11.00am until 9.00pm

Caprington Golf Course Re-Opening
The Scottish Government will in principle allow golf courses to re-open within the next week, guidance has been put in place by the Scottish government and the SGU for this to happen as safely as possible and we hope to return to some sort of normality as soon as we can do so. We have introduced a number of control measures which must be adhered to at all times, this will allow us to as far as possible keep all players and staff as safe as possible. Please take time to read the information provided. The management reserve the right to remove any player who is found to be knowingly in breach of these guide lines and will not hesitate to do so our aim is to keep everyone safe and playing golf. We will also be monitoring the measures in place and amending them whenever and wherever possible the full guidance can be found on www.gov.scot website.
